1. Services

FreshStep Carpet Care ("we", "us") provides residential and commercial cleaning services, including deep steam carpet cleaning, stain and spot removal, pet odor elimination, upholstery cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, area rug cleaning, carpet protection treatment, and carpet repair. All services are subject to crew availability and service-area coverage.

2. Quotes & Pricing

Quotes are based on the number of rooms, square footage, and conditions described by the customer, and are confirmed on site before work begins. Heavily soiled areas, specialty fabrics, or additional rooms not disclosed may adjust the price, and any adjustment will be approved by the customer before proceeding.

3. Stain Removal

We use professional-grade treatments and achieve excellent results on most stains. However, some stains — such as bleach spots, dye transfer, permanent markers, or stains previously set by heat or improper treatment — may be permanent and cannot be fully removed by any method. We will always advise honestly on what results to expect before treating.

4. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with any area we cleaned, notify us within 7 days and we will re-clean that area free of charge. The guarantee applies to cleaning quality and does not extend to permanent stains or pre-existing damage identified before service.

5. Drying & Care After Service

Carpets are typically dry within a few hours depending on carpet type, humidity, and ventilation. We recommend keeping foot traffic light until fully dry and using the provided protective pads under furniture legs to prevent color transfer or rust marks.

6. Pre-Existing Conditions

We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions including carpet wear, loose seams, delamination, furniture nicks, or damage hidden under furniture and rugs. Very old or fragile carpets and rugs are cleaned at the customer's discretion after we advise on the risks.

7. Appointments & Cancellations

Customers may cancel or reschedule an appointment free of charge with reasonable advance notice. Missed appointments or cancellations made at the door may be subject to a call-out fee.

8. Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to remove small and fragile items from the areas to be cleaned, secure pets during the visit, and point out stains and problem areas. We move light furniture; heavy items (pianos, beds, entertainment units) remain in place unless arranged in advance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of use or lost income.

10. Phone Calls & Communication

By calling the number on this page, you consent to be contacted by us regarding your service request, including by phone or text message. Calls may be recorded for quality and training purposes. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

11. Privacy

We collect only the information needed to schedule and complete your service (such as your name, phone number, and address). This information is used solely to provide the requested service and is handled with reasonable care and security.
